Mighty Mini-Courses For The Rest Of Us

Do Any Of You Remember This Guy?

Seems like super heroes are all the rage these days. I remember when this guy was too, and it reminded me of something that I wanted to do to help all Tennis players. I don’t have super powers, but I do have a super keen eye and about 40 years of coaching experience. I have distilled all that knowledge into easy to digest videos that can help any level tennis player.

So I thought, why not take the essence of some of the most common problems and give everyone a quick cure for what ails you…a mini-course, rather, a Mighty Mini-Course.

The Grand Slam is on. Monte Carlo Masters, the French Open, and everything in between.

It’s that great time of year and it is where all the fresh starts happen. Now is the time to start thinking about making improvements in your game too.

Whether you aspire to that level of play, or whatever level you’re trying to reach, be it 3.5, 4.0 or 4.5, you can certainly learn from these great players.

Tennis Racquet-Balls

I am super excited to share some things with you that almost everyone misses.

The fundamentals inherent to the Serve, Forehand and Backhand are so important for consistent Tennis game play.

When you watch these pros play, you know they have mastered the fundamentals to the point where they are simply “second-nature”. Most recreational players never get to that level of play because they are missing the consistency needed in their shots.

Let me explain and more importantly show you what I mean. I have developed courses in the CTW Academy that cover all aspects of these important shots. I want to give you a taste of what that is like for FREE. If you like what you see, I hope you will dive a little deeper to experience a full mini-course or join an Academy course and let me help you improve your game finally.

  1. THE SERVE: The serve is the single most important shot in tennis and if you can’t serve well, then you’re just handing points to your opponents. It is also a compound situation because the second serve is an opportunity that most miss. I want to show you how to grab the opportunity and the win with a reliable second serve.
  2. THE FOREHAND: The forehand is the most used shot in the game, but most people say it is their best shot because they often compare it to a weak backhand. Because the shot is used so much, most players also learn the wrong things. I want to show you how to gain more reliability, power and spin and gain the confidence to make every forehand shot count.
  3. THE BACKHAND: The Backhand can be one of the toughest shots to master. The answer to a better backhand may not be what you think. I want to show you a slight adjustment that will help breathe confidence into every backhand shot.

How To Develop A Reliable 2nd Serve

[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left” font_size=”18″ font_font=”Myriad%20Pro” font_style=”normal” font_color=”%23333″ font_shadow=”none”]My first example is about the second serve. How would you like a second serve with loads of spin that lands deep in the service box and kicks up high to your opponents backhand side?

When you own this type of serve it even improves your first serve because you’ll feel more relaxed to go BIG on the first serve taking more risk, knowing and having confidence that you have a reliable, penetrating second serve.

Many players that struggle with the second serve typically slow their swing down, fearing they may miss and try to steer the ball in the box.

When you watch the pros at the Australian Open and throughout the season, take note of the ones that are successful.

You’ll soon discover the ones that hit a high percentage of second serves with a topspin kicker to the backhand side, are doing the best at thwarting an opponents efforts to attack the second serve.

All the best and happy topspin,
Tom

If you struggle more with backhand or forehand,
I have mini-courses for those too, e.g.-
